The Entity PP20 are new school composite flat pedals that we've engineered to far surpass ISO MTB standards, plus trail (and air) tested beyond sanity under the feet of Entity sponsored free rider Tom Wrigley. These pedals are just as at home on your commuter or trail bike through to a downhill or dirt jump sled.
The PP20's glass fibre reinforced nylon construction provides a lightweight yet highly durable body. At 105mm wide, the PP20 platform is the optimal size for the widest range of shoe models and sizes; stable grip and support with decent ground clearance.
20 replaceable pins per pedal extend 4.5mm from the ergonomically contoured concave pedal surface. Each pin is installed from the underside and threaded securely through a nyloc hex nut which both reduces the chance of pins working loose or ripping them out with rock hits.
For serious mountain bikers, the most critical part of a pedal is mostly hidden from sight; the CNC machined 9/16" Cr-Mo spindles are designed to handle the biggest jumps and gnarly cases without bending, whilst supporting the pedals to spin smoothly on the inboard LSL bushing and outboard sealed industrial bearing. Out of the box these bearings are buttery smooth and our high bushing fitting tolerances ensure that's they way they stay.
At just 360g for a pair, the PP20's are over 100g lighter than the smaller platform Shimano XT M8020 pedals.
